A-140: Site-Based Decision Making
The Board of Trustees believes in a centrally coordinated site-based decision making model within the context of a cooperative division focus, and that each division school and central department must have the authority and support, including available resources, to make decisions in matters for which they have responsibility.
The board believes that, when appropriate, division schools, central departments and the board provide opportunities for stakeholder input when making major decisions.
The board is accountable to its public and Alberta Education and believes that each division school and central department is accountable for the results for which they are responsible.
