After a career in information technology in the United States, John Allen came to St. Albert in 2009 with his young family. He worked as a technical analyst for our school division until he was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2021. He is currently serving as our representative to the Alberta School Boards Association (ASBA), and as the Vice Chair of the Board for the 2022-2023 school year. While working in our schools, he developed a deep appreciation for the work that administrators, teachers and support staff do every day.  He is a proud parent of two St. Albert Public Schools students.

Kim Armstrong (formerly Bugeaud) came to St. Albert in 1987, never leaving because of St. Albert’s commitment to public education. Having previously served as a trustee with the former St. Albert Protestant Separate School District from 1995-1998, she was re-elected in 2013 and is excited to be back in these challenging times of growth and change for St. Albert Public Schools. Kim served as Board Chair for the 2017-2018 school year. She was re-elected to the Board of Trustees in 2021, served as Chair for the 2021-2022 school year, and is currently serving as Chair for the 2022-2023 school year.The proud parent of three St. Albert Public graduates, Kim brings a passionate community-based perspective to her work on the Board.

Stanley Haroun was first elected to the Board of Trustees in the 2017 municipal election. He was re-elected to the Board of Trustees in 2021. He served as the Vice Chair of the Board for the 2021-2022 school year and serves the Board's Chair of the Advocacy Committee. He holds Bachelor and Masters degrees in the fields of psychology, social work and philosophy, is a Registered Social Worker, a mental health therapist, and the president and founder of Stanley Haroun Group of Companies.Stanley has extensive experience in the mental health field, including playing a key role in establishing and managing the first integrated departments of child welfare services, services for special needs individuals and mental health clinics for the Alberta government. He also played a key role in the initial stages of transferring child welfare services of Indigenous children to local Indigenous authorities in Alberta.His volunteer initiatives have included: Chair of St. Albert City Council's Affordable Housing Advisory Board, a founding member and the first Chair of St. Albert Housing Society, the founder and Chair of St. Albert Task Force on Vandalism and youth issues, Vice-Chair of St. Albert City Council's remuneration and benefits advisory committee, founder and Chair of St. Albert Theatre Arts Guild (STAGE), founding member and director of Calgary Champions Career Centre for the rehabilitation of the physically challenged individuals and mental health clients. Stanley is currently a Chair of the Ethics and Disciplinary Hearing Tribunals for the Alberta College of Social Workers.Stanley and his wife Jo-Anne have two children and two grandchildren.

Sheyanne was elected to the board in 2021. She currently serves as the trustee representative on the division's Wisdom and Guidance Committee.

Kristi Rouse was elected to the Board of Trustees in the 2021 municipal election. She has resided in St. Albert since 2006, and has worked alongside her husband in his residential real estate business since welcoming their now school-aged children.A Chartered Professional Accountant by training, Kristi has held positions on a variety of boards, committees and working groups that all appealed to her desire to provide better support for children and families. She will forever advocate not only for her own children, but for all children and families for a public education system that supports the needs of every child.In 2015, Kristi and her husband founded the Rouse Family Fund with the St. Albert Community Foundation in which a portion of business profits are donated to provide ongoing assistance to local charities with a primary focus on assisting children and families.
