The board of trustees is delegated, through the Constitution Act, 1867, the Alberta Act, S.C. 1905, c.3, and the current Education Act its authority for the governance of education at the local level. The board believes that the exercise of this authority is best accomplished through the use of an established set of rules of order and that these rules will govern its operation as a board.
