B-190: Naming of Schools and Physical Spaces
References:
- Education Act: S33 (1)(c)
The Board of Trustees believes that division schools and, in some cases, physical spaces should be named after persons or concepts that bring honour to the school and division by representing the division's values, beliefs and commitment to students. Therefore, the board reserves its right to name all division schools and, in some cases, physical spaces owned by the board.
