Celebrating Neurodiversity Week

From March 19-21 and April 1-2, students across our division will explore the many ways our brains work and learn how to appreciate different ways of thinking, learning, and experiencing the world.

Wednesday, March 19: Learning disorders
People with learning disorders often have amazing creativity and problem-solving skills.

Thursday, March 20: Tourette Syndrome
Many people with Tourette's have amazing abilities in music and sports.

Friday, March 21: World Down Syndrome Day
People with Down syndrome often have wonderful empathy and determination.

Tuesday, April 1: ADHD
People with ADHD are often creative thinkers and think outside the box.

Friday, April 2: World Autism Day
People with autism see the world in special ways and often excel in math, music, art, or memory.
